: The children's room 2 faces south. Children's room 1 faces east, overlooking the neighbor's garden and beyond the settlement. The dressing room faces the evening sun. My thought was that if we use the roof terrace, no one inside would be "disturbed" by the noises. That's why the children's rooms are on the other side. Would you have prioritized that differently? The airspace naturally takes up a nice spot towards the south and west... My hope is that the perceived gain in space in the living area balances it out. A basement is planned. However, half of it will be a granny flat. I haven't planned that out yet, as we are still unsure about the granny flat. You're absolutely right about the dimensions. That's because I really struggled to estimate hallway sizes, stairs, etc. That definitely needs to be done by a professional. For now, it's important to me to fix the arrangement of the rooms.
