Ah, I see :)

I think the children's rooms should be in the south. Basically, without measurements, it's hard to say anything

but basement with a granny flat .. who is supposed to live in the granny flat? Are you planning to make large light courts for the windows?

And a few measurements would be really good, the hallway on the upper floor looks approximately narrower than 120 cm. And according to the room program, I think it is indeed so.

: You are right about the basement apartment! If we don’t manage to create decent light wells, we will probably just give up on it. Before we had children, we also lived for a long time in a "basement" apartment. The area in front of the windows was excavated (so it was reasonably bright) and the rent was quite affordable. That’s how I would imagine it as well. As I said, it is still completely open.

Not enough [emoji4]

Because you want to cut the house at the upper left next to the airspace and have an exterior wall there, you would have to support this wall somewhere and somehow on the ground floor. In my opinion, way too much nonsense and cost for little gain. In the living room, some beams and supporting walls that nobody wants there anywhere.
Upstairs I see a walk-in closet and wonder how wide it is supposed to be. It seems too narrow to really make sense.
I question the upstairs terrace - probably the house and the airspace lose their two-story character because of it?!

Edit: but that's not mandatory either, as I have seen

The upper floor with dimensions would be more interesting. And the site plan with dimensions, ideally with the house inserted, so that one can see where light wells can be made at all, since there should also be a terrace.
