The distance from the end of the kitchen wall to the living room wall is less than 3.0m! In the living room or dining room, you should always have at least 3.50, otherwise it becomes tight. As said, for the straight staircase your house must become bigger. Possibly change planner or construction company. Our construction company at least warned us about a hallway width of 1.0m...

Your marked dining table is only about 120 x 80cm in size. That is only as big as a small kitchen table. It is not comfortable to get into the kitchen that way, it will be too tight. In the bedroom, you can hardly get out of bed without bumping into the wall.

Best regards
Sabine

Thank you very much for your opinions! That will definitely help us!

We don’t really like no door either, it wouldn’t work differently with the stairs. According to opinions from our acquaintances, these doors almost always stay open... I would like to have such a fancy glass door there, but with 2 kids I don’t know if it would be right.

A 1-meter passage is marked. Do you really think it is too narrow? We also have a 1-meter passage now and don't find it bad; you don't necessarily have to be able to dance there. I know that when building, everything should be planned more generously, but unfortunately not all wishes can be fulfilled (if the budget is limited).
Anyway, thank you very much. A lift-and-slide door is already being discussed.

No, it won't The single-leaf terrace door will very likely be realized as fixed glazing, so the table moves up, and as I said, the dining area will be slightly enlarged.

I largely agree with what is already written here. Otherwise:

If I imagine what is definitely too narrow here to be wider, then a 9 m house width results, for which I would suggest "Vario 2.0" (here only the ground floor) and "Domus 2.0" (both 9 x 9.5 m) from Massivhaus Mittelrhein as inspiration. You can find a similarly structured thread here:

I would see this kitchen working better with a corner bench, then the wide window should get a higher sill, and the sliding door would then be located in the living room.
