Hello everyone,

we have finally received the exterior views of our planned house (different thread ). The floor plan (oriented northeast) has also been slightly modified. I have attached the views from the architect as well as the revised views (window arrangement), of course, these do not match the floor plan in size.
To the front facing southwest, a dormer (flat roof gable) is still planned, and both children's rooms should be oriented to the southwest.
The narrow window in the basement on the side is supposed to be a door.

Since it is a hillside property, this presents a challenge for the architect, so that the garage fits on one level and you don't have to drive down into the terrain, and the basement is not counted as a full storey despite the large windows.

What we have to say about the floor plan:
Upper floor
We are not quite happy with the upper floor yet. As mentioned, the bathroom and children's room should still be swapped, and the rooms adjusted a bit in square meters. What do you think in general about the rooms on the upper floor? They seem a bit too rectangular to us. What do you think?

Ground floor
The storage room or room with passage to the garage. It will be difficult to leave anything there. It is planned for cleaning stuff, vacuum cleaner, etc. We are not sure if we really want to make this room with a passage.
Windows at the front in the living room. Should we make two smaller windows there? The exit to the front terrace is also planned from there.

We look forward to feedback, criticism, or suggestions for what should be done differently.

I like the views! Reminds me of our house! (:
But personally, I would rotate the ground floor of the house by 90 degrees and plan the entrance between the house and the garage. Maybe also from the front, but in an extension between the buildings. Living room at the front, kitchen at the back left corner, and guest WC as well as storage room at the back right corner. That would be my idea of a perfectly oriented house. Upstairs, I would do it the way you described.

I find the new revised views better. It remains to be considered whether you always want to go outside through the [whz].

The dressing room on the upper floor wastes space and can only be used on one side.

Kisska you also have a nice house.
We specifically chose the layout downstairs this way. The kitchen is separate at the back towards the large garden and the dining room gets the panoramic view.
One could consider having the entrance on the right, but then there would only be a distance of 1.6 from the garage to the house.

Otherwise, the rooms are pretty well laid out?

Hmm, it's up to you. I don't think the rooms are bad, but as I already wrote, the proportions upstairs are no longer right if you swap. The children's rooms are then smaller than the bathroom and bedroom... The stairs somehow need to go further up...
