Where did he take his measurements? Is a wall crooked or did he actually adjust the tiles to the wall?

Last summer there was a change in the case law regarding fictitious damage calculation. I personally understood it to mean that if you keep the damage, you only receive the difference between the value of the defective item and the value of the non-defective item. Could you take a look at the question 1500.- or 2000.-? Haufe published this in the news on 23.07., the judgment is from the BGH and concerns contracts for work and services.

Best regards
Gabriele

We asked ourselves the same thing... he himself says the outer wall is crooked..... we measured, the outer walls have an offset of 1cm over 13.5m! So the outer walls are definitely at an angle. The tiles in the entrance area fit as well, just like the parquet floor installed in the rest of the house.

He probably started crooked and just kept going with it.... those weren’t the only mistakes he made..... he carelessly swapped grout colors, laid completely wrong tiles on the floor in one bathroom, etc......

Would insist on the 2000 euros, redoing it is usually not good. A lot gets damaged and even more is botched.

With us, a lot is also crooked and the plaster is very wavy, at first it bothered me massively, but over time you get used to many things :D. Craftsmen who really know what they're doing can now only be found with a magnifying glass...

Yes, take the money. But I just wonder if some craftsmen are drunk. It looks bad.

Oh man... yes, I would like to keep the €2000 discount as it is, but he wants €500 back!
