No, you are not alone :) We have everything open too. Of course, when it’s warm, really warm, the new awning comes into use. I’m glad we still have other south- and west-facing windows where the sun still comes into the house. And if it’s glaring when watching TV, the roller shutter is moved halfway for half an hour – can be manually adjusted within a second (ugly?) straps. 30 degrees in M are still 30 degrees in Hamburg. It depends on the need or the ingrained aversion to sun rays. Even sweating for 5 minutes now without doing anything is no reason not to do it :P

I doubt that anyone can be conditioned to sleep poorly at 28 degrees. Especially sweating... Ugh. When you're eventually just wet all over and still sit on sofas and chairs... No, thanks.
There is a reason why in more southern regions either air conditioning is installed or it is darkened all day long. There are simply very few people who think it’s cool to be in the heat all day.

mh, I wouldn't be so sure about that now. Don't they still calculate in Réaumur in Bavaria? :D

Technically yes, but it doesn't feel like it.

Well, there are parents who show their children that the sun is bad when it shines into the house, that one falls into hysteria over a bee, and that rain is disgusting when you get caught in it. The behavior is gladly adopted. My parents liked to spend time in the sun ;)
