Thanks! When was your first payment due? Immediately after signing? Our advisor said that's 2% of the purchase price. The interest on the standby loan is a thing for us. MW is already fully booked with orders for this year. So earliest construction start next year, of course weather dependent. Have already been to two banks, they don't grant interest-free periods longer than 12 months. Have you already had the selection for the bathroom/tiles?

I think the first payment was after the signature or upon submission of the building application. I'm not so sure anymore. The provision interest is usually 12 months. I am not very familiar with that. We have completed all selections. Best regards

My girlfriend and I are currently also looking, but we still need a building plot that is not directly on the B10 or other heavily trafficked country roads, but also not completely out of the way - we both work directly in LD. So far, we had an appointment with Town & Country, but I also wanted to arrange an appointment with Creativ Massivhaus. With Town & Country, it apparently depends a lot on the developer itself. The next one available here does not have good reviews at all. We went to one in the Palatinate Forest and at least the initial conversation was good and likeable. May I ask what your houses are supposed to cost per m²? Since Friday, I have been reading many topics here in the forum and am getting more and more "great ideas"... but the budget is quite tight - especially with the land costs here. As another possible developer, I am now adding MW to the list.

I still have to calculate the exact price per square meter. Although you can’t generalize that. In my opinion, other factors also play a role. Ventilation system or not, electric shutters, venetian blinds, heating....... I can give you the tip to compare all the detailed construction descriptions. If you know early on what you want, it’s an advantage. We were at Town & Country in Ludwigshafen. They were also very nice. 99% of all developers were very courteous at the first meeting. I also found Kreativ great. Above all, I liked the list with the reference projects. I also spent nights here in the forum. I think there is a thread here for every problem. And if not, then you just start one yourself. Good luck in your search for a plot. And keep me updated. I’d be interested to know how you decide and what you think of the different providers. Best regards

I think that one rather calculates or compares by enclosed volume than by living area.

I have been following along here for a while because we want to build on a plot of land in Heidelberg. Has anyone had experience with a company in Heidelberg or the surrounding area?
