So far, we have had appointments with Weton and Town & Country.

Weton was great!!!
We will receive a final price in the next few days.
We have been given an amount as a guideline, but it can still change.
The only negative thing about it was that the move-in date would be, at the earliest, autumn 2020.

Town & Country did not really appeal to us.

By the end of the month, we still have appointments with:
Kreativ Haus, Tremmel, vierblock, and Roth Massivhaus.

By the way, the neighbor had his shell construction done by HEBERGER.
The rest was mostly done in-house.
I'll keep you updated.

Then use the forum search here. Regarding the regular posters, I seem to remember from that they were satisfied with them. I myself am not a house builder, but I deal a lot with construction companies and have a good impression of Weton.

We also come from the region and are looking for a suitable [GU]. I am curious to hear how it went with you.

Sorry for the delay. The child had a fever yesterday, and I couldn’t get in touch. Yes, we were looking for a general contractor here in the Palatinate. Had appointments with all sorts of GCs. Read construction descriptions day and night. Lurking around various new development areas, and talking to builders. My conclusion is that builders are quite different. Some were so satisfied with a GC that they would build with them again, and another builder had a nightmare with the same GC. Here are my experiences.

WETON Massivhaus (our first GC): Building, in my opinion, with very high quality. Super friendly and nice. We felt very comfortable there. I believe if you build with Weton, you haven’t made a mistake. We spoke with former builders. There was no criticism. Problems were, according to the builders, solved quickly and securely. What spoke against Weton in our case was the price. Simply too expensive for us. We set a financial framework! And that was exceeded. We were also not willing to compromise at all.

Roth Baumeister-Haus: Was our top favorite. Direct appointment with the architect. We felt more than comfortable. Everything was planned. Also talked with former builders. All super satisfied! Price-wise Roth was somewhat higher than Weton. But in my opinion, still excellent quality. The only reason why we didn’t come together was that they simply have so many orders, and we would have had to wait too long.

Viebrockhaus: When we thought it couldn’t get more expensive, we had the appointment at Viebrockhaus. I think they are quite good too. We read often that one must also consider the services there. They would justify the price. I don’t think so, but that is debatable. I also didn’t want to go to the sample selection in Cologne or the like.

Kreativ Massivhaus Landau: Price-performance TOP!!!!!!! They also laid all cards on the table. All craftsmen. Creditworthiness. A list of all objects that were built. Was within our budget, and the services were really, very very good. My wife didn’t warm up to them. We found the architect and consultant very special. But I would still recommend Kreativ.

Town & Country: Didn’t fit with us. You can find enough about that on the internet.

Tremmelhaus Kaiserslautern: Very curious story. Don’t want to comment further on that. Although Mr. Tremmel was very nice. But the way until we got an appointment was already very curious.

Schneider Bau Otterstadt: Didn’t come to a price agreement.

Tri Immo Heidelberg: Would not recommend.

Then also planning offices, smaller local GCs and developers. Prefab house providers and so on.

In the end, we ended up with Massivhaus Wonnegau. Signed four weeks ago. The whole package fit. We also feel really comfortable there. From my point of view, I would recommend them as well. But let’s wait and see the construction phase.

Regards
