Ha! Just wait... that's nothing yet. I've already completely lost my nerves for the second or third time (land purchase in May '18) and we only have the groundbreaking in March. Next comes the financing, the building permit, then the insurance, then the kitchen, and only then the construction. Plus the normal madness you always have anyway. Finding a general contractor is still the smallest problem...

Maybe one of the neighbors who is not on vacation right now knows who he built with. My hint regarding the builder of his half was: if he doesn't have the plague, smell bad, or is stupid, then take him. I wouldn't see anything against Weton or one of the others mentioned. But one of my basic convictions is that with a semi-detached house, both halves only form a whole when combined, which no one glues together better than the one who planned or built the first half. Not necessarily the only, but in my opinion usually the first choice. Therefore, I recommend you: inquire about the architect and/or builder of the other half.

I can also recommend Weton, we were satisfied.
