Yes, I am satisfied so far. It is 6.2 kWp, half on SO and half on SW; plus an LG ESS with a 5.9 kW usable battery. I myself am curious to see how it looks after 12 months. It will certainly never pay off because of the expensive battery, but it is really enjoyable to watch in the meantime.

Okay, more passion then, I was just wondering how you achieved this level of autarky

Nonsense. If that were the case, the annual performance factor would be well below 2. I have never heard/read of anyone with such a poor value.

If I understood correctly, the OP wants to build in Vienna or the surrounding area, and as far as I know, unfortunately, we do not get a grant for that in Austria.

Pardon my mistake or ignorance. However, I would prefer this variant of the air-water heat pump + photovoltaic. On the one hand, I have a constant temperature in the ground and on the other hand (at least here in [dtld]) this variant is also cheaper. Photovoltaics without a battery storage are a hobby for enthusiasts and with battery storage an expensive hobby.

What exactly do you mean by that, in what other context would this make sense?

Is a brine heat pump generally always an option, or do certain requirements have to be met? I thought air was still the least complicated option. Or?

What kind of subsidies? Sorry if I’m asking silly questions, I’m already researching but the whole topic is huge and I’m admittedly a bit overwhelmed – so thanks in advance for all the input. I think I would have to first look at which types of heat pumps are even an option, brine is not always possible as far as I know, while air generally doesn’t have problems. Opinions vary quite a bit when it comes to a combination with photovoltaics, maybe I still need to get a professional opinion on that.
