Exhaust hood (recirculation) directed upwards?

Hello community,

can I still direct the air upwards with a range hood (LAGAN) that is planned as recirculation?

The recirculation operation is very loud and I would like to divert the air upwards into the kitchen through a pipe, that is, without a duct to the outside!!

You can switch between recirculation and exhaust air, and a charcoal filter is already installed....

Surely, a pipe would have to be added, but I guess it wouldn't help much. The technicians should say.

Recirculation hoods are always much louder and less effective than those that vent outside.

We were only allowed to install recirculation in our place, and the right hood cost me at least as much research as the right dishwasher. We have an open-plan kitchen and don't want loud noise. Now we are satisfied, but the hood has become much more expensive than the Lagan and similar ones.

Adding the pipe upwards doesn’t make it a vent hood if it continues to blow into the interior of the kitchen.

As a student, you just turn the music up a bit. :)
