We built a Kfw70 house in 2013: with 14cm insulation, solar was necessary for our gas heating. The roof was insulated more than the standard. Our controlled ventilation system was not necessary, but also desired by us. So we narrowly missed Kfw55, which on paper does not matter. We are satisfied with this middle ground - consumption and technology, with which we live together under one roof.

Maybe you can build in a way that some things are upgradeable? Then you are future-proof....

Hello everyone,
I still have to ask a few stupid questions. We wanted to have a controlled residential ventilation system (for comfort reasons, I am allergic, bad experiences with well-insulated houses and working full-time, etc.). We had logically focused on a central controlled residential ventilation system. Does that even make sense anymore? If you were to build according to the energy saving regulations, it would, as I understand it, result in a suitably insulated house with a gas heating system.

Our wish would be to have underfloor heating throughout the whole house and the controlled residential ventilation system. How can this be realized?
You often see houses that also have a solar system. Does that make sense or is it completely pointless? It probably isn’t cost-effective either because the electricity consumption of the controlled residential ventilation system is not high enough to justify the solar system. Correct? Or is there some combination (maybe with water heating) where this pays off?

A gas heating system with controlled residential ventilation and underfloor heating is also easily realizable. We have that too. Or what do you mean by that?
