The controlled residential ventilation should be in the heated room, otherwise you will have higher losses.

There are no noises down to the rooms with us. I might not put the bedroom underneath. In your future room in the attic itself, you might possibly hear the controlled residential ventilation if it is running at a high level and if there are only very thin walls/doors between the rooms in the attic.

Maybe the walls could be additionally reinforced or the controlled residential ventilation enclosed?

It somehow works. However, if the controlled residential ventilation fits on the ceiling in the utility room, I would prefer that.

Is that even possible? So far, I only know the floor or wall variant.
