Hello everyone,

I have a question about the eligible costs for the KfW program 431. We built a KfW 40+ house and chose an architect who is also an energy consultant. Costs of approximately €23,000 arose for planning and construction supervision. In the confirmation after completion, however, under total eligible costs there are only ~€3400 ops: I would probably only receive 50% of that as a subsidy from KfW, is that correct? Up to €4000 is possible, and considering the total costs for the architect, that's a joke, right? How was it for you? Did you get the full planning and construction supervision costs reimbursed?

I would be very grateful for your help.

Best regards Judyyy

You can claim a maximum of €8000, €4000 will be reimbursed. (Per residential unit)
If supposedly only €3400 is eligible for funding, what did he do for the remaining €19,600???

Politely point out to him to optimize his invoices in your favor, after all, he is getting €23,000. Maybe this can be clarified in a short phone call.

If not, then one would have to discuss the offer, interim invoices, etc.

Did you apply for the funding? It is not clear from your post. And it is not possible afterwards.

No, I had only dealt with the topic for a longer period. In the end, my consultant costs under 600€ and I am not eligible for funding. I have an architect separately, but only for the building application for dormers for a renovation.

You can only claim costs that are attributable to the activity as an energy consultant. The complete architect's fee for the new building will not be accepted in my opinion

Just ask for the calculation basis if it has not been explained in more detail
