Why do you want to have a 24-port switch with a single 12-port patch panel?

The 12-port patch panel is fully occupied and next to it dangles an abandoned CAT cable. So, someone among the electricians can’t really count properly. Then there’s inverter, router, heating. I already need 16 ports now. A bit of buffer and I’m at an 18-port switch, but back then I couldn’t find one available.
