For something like this, there is a simple solution -> label every cable and port.

Sure, but try doing that quickly when the IT manager thinks "it works and we have other tasks at the moment." Doesn't matter, that's not supposed to be the topic here.

If you mount the patch panels directly above and below a 48-port switch, you can always work with 10 cm patch cables and it looks great.

It's due to prioritization. The panels were installed by the electrician, the switch by me. I slapped the thing underneath first, following the motto "just get it in." Once many "more important" minor construction tasks are completed, I'll set up the cabinet completely anew. As I said, you can't even see the chaos underneath. It really bothers me. But well, you can't do everything at once.

And that's exactly not a problem because you have keystones! With a fixed LSA panel, that would be very cumbersome. For as an example :)

In this context, picked up again here… I was recommended I t b u d g e t as a source for patch cables here in the forum. Can only recommend!
