Somewhat older topic, but who currently has a tip for garden planners. Since we have slopes or embankments in all directions on our property, it would be important to be able to integrate these height differences quite realistically (ideal would of course be with an indication of the height above zero at various reference points) Thanks for tips

Hey, with some effort and by indirect means, only SweetHome 3D, SketchUp, or the pCon Planner come to mind quickly, which are available for free. Otherwise, all 3D planners, e.g., Architekt 3D or similar, should offer the necessary features without having to spend a lot of money.

Unfortunately, in all these software solutions, the garden is just a flat surface. I would be very interested to know how you could plan a property with a slope using them. If I had more time, I would actually start with Blender.

Alright. At least with the affordable ones. But the 3D architect from Immocado should be able to do it. Unfortunately, I last used this type of planner in 2019/2019. Professionally, I have access to other 3D software and I am well acquainted with it. Therefore, it was usually easy to implement the desired plans. Blender is powerful, but like most programs in this category, the learning curve unfortunately is too. You will definitely need a bit of time. Search on YT for Immocado 3D Architect, maybe you will find something interesting after all. Otherwise, back to the roots - despite all the CAD options, I still do it this way in the first phase... pen and paper :)

With "Realtime Landscaping Architect" I have managed to create "curved" gardens (with small steps and hills) using the "Terrain Function."

For a slope along the house, I "misuse" the "wedge function" available under "Modeling":
I then give the "wedge" the structure "lawn," so it becomes a straight but ascending lawn area (slope).
