Obviously. I'm just saying, if politicians thought it was important, they could easily solve it.

So what? Building cheaper for everyone => Living cheaper for everyone.
Admittedly, I am generally in favor of less taxation overall.

Sure, those who earn 250k a year should also be subsidized and equated with a family with two children and a family income of 65k? That creates even more inequality in Germany. I think that's crap

With this way of thinking you also belong to the majority in Germany. That's okay too. Personally, I don't mind if everyone benefits. Why cheaper construction prices lead to more inequality is beyond me. Although I would also consider inequality a part of life. If everyone is equal, everyone is equally poor, see any communist country.

We bought our house from 1930 eleven years ago. At that time we were 29 and 30 years old and had just had our first child. The funding back then was a subsidized loan of €50,000, so very manageable... Today we are renovating with the help of the Bafa EM funding. A conversion to KFW x would have required incredible measures that would have been absurd even with funding.

In general, I agree that less the funding itself, but rather planning security is necessary. And I see that many young families absolutely have to have many things because it is chic and en vogue. Keyword entitlement mentality. I did not see that in my environment eleven years ago...

Because building 10% cheaper does not help those who have to struggle with relatively high payments. And those who can build do so anyway. Regardless of price and interest. Yes, but the inequality is growing. And inequality to a great extent causes a lot of unrest among the population. The social fabric simply falls apart and a community breaks down. Building / housing is only one part of it. It's not about everyone being equal. But it's about the poor also needing to get opportunities and chances.

OK then another one. Up to an income limit, construction costs can also be deducted for owner-occupied residential property. My main concern is that I consider this subsidy system to be very inefficient and am convinced that it would be relatively easy to relieve citizens if there were a will to do so.
