perhaps the best solution is to use the terrace table when needed. You can choose it so that it fits in height and width. Uniform tablecloth over both tables and you hardly notice it anymore

I mentioned the children’s table in my post:

"

That’s right!
But what’s even more annoying: adults who desperately involve and argue about the lack of seats at family gatherings in their everyday environment. It doesn’t always have to be formally "we’ve always done it this way," but you can find good alternatives.

I think the best is a table that can be extended... That way you have the possibility to arrange everything nicely in everyday life, and when there are big parties, you have enough space to add more chairs. I generally find it difficult when chairs don’t fit under the table... no matter where I am, I always push my chair in; I think it looks tidier that way.

We have 2.4m x 1.1m
10 people no problem
12 people cozy
14 people - hopefully the kids get up soon. Next time they'll get their own table - they're old enough

Ha – and if 2 neighbor kids or Jehovah's Witnesses ring the doorbell, you're doomed with your mini table.

You can put the kids somewhere and the Jehovah's Witnesses always disappear after I politely invite them to participate in the Black Mass. No idea why.
