Did you have RC2 windows installed?

Hello,

we are currently dealing with the windows of our planned house. The police recommend installing RC2 windows, but these are apparently also very expensive. Have you installed such windows and what additional costs should one expect for a window or patio door? For example, if you only have the patio door made in RC2, do the glass panes then look different compared to the other windows? How did you do it?

We had the accessible windows (ground floor) installed "like RC2N, but without test certificate." IMHO RC2N is sufficient, you can do without RC2. And then all (accessible) windows and patio doors.

RC2 or RC2N? I personally don’t think much of it, always rather make sure that the windows are closed when you are not at home, the front door is locked, the shutters are down, etc. This has led to the fact that our garden was burglarized three times, but no one wanted to enter the house.

We have also installed RC2N, so without the safety glass. With triple glazing, it is not so easy to break the glass without making noise. Most people try to pry it open, and that already helps.
