Wall tiles may sometimes not be laid on the floor... just saying. We are also getting a tiled channel, I can't say anything about the practical test yet.

We have the Bette floor side, so with the drain on the side - and no above-mentioned problems with soap residues.

Cleaning the hair strainer is also easy.

And of course, the net prices are more attractive than the luxury installation by the general contractor's plumber... Unfortunately, you can't get it there for 1k. Different topic. We've discussed that here before.

Thanks to you.
Your metal holders are made of plastic here. Are they firmly in place with you?
When I want to remove the cover, they sometimes either stick to the cover or to the rail.
So when I want to put the cover back on/into place, they move all over the place and nothing fits anymore.

The question was: are they firmly in place with you?

We currently also have a channel drain and apart from the fact that cleaning it annoys me, it is flawless. There is nothing made of plastic or wobbling during installation/removal. Nothing overflows either. The drains must of course be adjusted to the flow rate of any existing rain showers.

Your desired tile is also available in “Tatami” and “Cassettone” format. See the manufacturer’s website. Maybe something can still be done with that. Apparently, there is no mosaic available at the factory. Take a look at the tile in person if you haven’t already. Especially with wood look, pictures online have little to do with reality.
