I really can't find a suitable category for my question - I'll just try the parquet section - but it could just as well fit under tiles.
Hello
We are currently considering how to design the baseboards on the ground floor.
The following problem arises:
In the living/dining area there will be oak parquet flooring and in the entrance area dark (light black/anthracite) tiles.
The transition between both materials is unfortunately on a wall in the entrance area (not on a corner). See the graphic - the separation of the materials corresponds to the red line (wood = brown and tile = black).
How would you execute the baseboards in the entrance area? As a tile baseboard or continue with the wooden baseboard from the living area?
If you would change the material... at exactly which point? I somehow can't imagine suddenly changing the type of baseboard on the same wall.
Many thanks for your opinions.
