After writing the list, I thought that an overview could be controversially discussed. We just need a lot of water.

The water in my current apartment has a value of 23 - and it is driving me crazy. Limescale stains everywhere in the shower, uneven water jets at the showerhead and faucets, kettle and coffee machine inside white, etc. A descaling system is certainly not essential for survival, but if I were to build here in town with this water, I would plan a system for comfort reasons.

I would install the system, or at least provide a location for it so that it could be retrofitted later.

Ps. Move to us in the Erzgebirge, here the water has to be hardened by the water supplier using CO2 treatment because it is so soft. No joke. Otherwise, the pH value would be too high and no longer adjustable as usual by other additives.

As already mentioned before:
If you drink a lot of tap water, first try the water that comes from a water softener.

We - and many of our acquaintances - do not like the taste. Therefore, we decided against a water softener.

However, that does not mean you have to do without softening. Usually, the water is taken from the kitchen. For this purpose, a separate cold water line is installed before softening at the sink. Costs nothing and problem solved.

And I like it better... has the disadvantage that I no longer like many mineral waters
