It has worked very well for about 7 years, the joints are almost invisible to the naked eye. We do not have a humidifier, heating is via underfloor heating. Perhaps it also has a little to do with the type of wood, Wenge does not move much.

Elastic adhesive can of course be the solution. I have never dealt with it....
