Cost per square meter for a double garage?

Hello,

can the costs for a double garage roughly be planned with a price per square meter?

The two architects (were at the initial meeting) didn't want to hear anything about the garage at first (but immediately tried to sell me a heat pump with geothermal drilling)

Regarding the double garage

Solid masonry
6x8m
5-6m rolling door
Hipped roof (mandatory "development plan)

The topic of renewable energies is important, however, many factors have to align for a ground-source heat pump; often another heat pump is the better choice.

Solid masonry, 6x8m, 5-6m roll-up door, hipped roof (mandatory "development plan")

First the question why it has to be a masonry garage? At the dimensions you want, the price premiums of prefabricated garage providers for the extra length are acceptable; with a deviation in width, the situation looks different and a masonry garage can often really pay off.

For the requested dimensions you can expect masonry costs of around EUR 23,000 in FD design including an electric sectional door, to which you have to add the costs of the WD – I would estimate another EUR 12,000-15,000. Many municipalities also allow "façades" – where in front at the edge of the prefabricated garage a kind of "WD façade is mounted" – just ask about that.

I would accept the brick garage for the price, only the hipped roof really blows me away! A prefabricated garage would of course also be an alternative, but in case I manage to convince my better half, I wanted to build the walls (& floor slab) myself.

Is there possibly a link to a backdrop or a provider? (Google doesn't spit out anything useful)

You must not forget that the desired dimensions of your garage are comparable to the size of a small single-family house; that adds up to quite a lot of roof area.

A prefabricated garage would of course also be an alternative, but if I can convince my better half, I want to build the walls (& floor slab) myself.

If your time allows and you are handy, certainly an alternative; one of my customers did the same last year. I got him the bricks at a good price (plan stone PPW2/0.4 17.5ER 624X249MM 7.5SQM/PAL. - m³ - € 82.00), the floor slab was poured by the contractor (cost for floor slab per sqm about € 80.00).

Unfortunately, I don’t have the "backdrop" on hand at the moment, but I have a cheaper alternative (graphic). Ask the building authority if this alternative is approvable.
