Cost of meter cabinet

Five things immediately stand out to me:

[*]Alarm system is simply damn expensive - definitely get comparison offers.
[*]Data technology: 560 euros??? I've paid 250 euros for 500 meters of CAT7 cable before, which might not even be enough for us. How many meters is that then with the electrician? What kind of minimal installation is that in the field of network technology?
[*]Roller shutter central control: You often see this at the top of wish lists - for what purpose? Do you want, among other things, to raise the roller shutters in your children's rooms at the push of a button? Better are group controls in individual rooms, otherwise a few timed controls - think about it.
[*]Surcharge for switch material: What special did you choose? The surcharge is quite low, but still listed?
[*]Satellite system only partially replaced by cable – coaxial cables, distributors & outlets are needed there too.

We also had to supply 300sqm of floor space:
- Gira Event frames with colored inserts
- all windows with electric shutters (individually switchable, central switch on the ground floor, also via home automation - Smart Home (can be expanded for all switches), upstairs with timers)
- Sat system with eight receivers (we can also feed a cable signal through the distribution)
- at least four LAN ports per room
- endless sockets (e.g. at least eight per children's room, ten sockets for TV/receiver/HTPC etc.)
- speaker cables for surround including floor boxes
- staircase lighting at step height
- video intercom system with two monitors (ground floor and upper floor)
- separate sockets controlled by timers (extremely expensive because only 2mm high frame) in the window jambs for decoration (woman's wish)
- wiring for photovoltaic system
- various ceiling spots in living room, kitchen, hallways, bathrooms
etc.
Cost just over €20,000

@Lexmaul - we have already chosen the switches, they are large push buttons with a smaller frame compared to the standard. - data technology - no idea what exactly that is, I have to look it up - we are getting venetian blinds, not roller shutters. We wanted one switch per floor, with which all the blinds on this floor go down automatically. I thought that would be practical if you go away for the weekend or go out in the evening. But it probably only makes sense for the ground floor. I also thought that when going to bed in the evening, you press the switch and all on the ground floor go down. We currently also live on the ground floor (although in a multi-family house) and have roller shutters, but never close them. Maybe the control is really not worth it. Timer switch, don’t know if that is needed. Nordanney - that sounds great! I also want sockets for decorations. Would you like to reveal your provider? N-V is not that far from Oberhausen.
