Our project is: demolition of our small semi-detached house and new construction. We are now considering using our approximately 10-year-old ground floor windows (plastic, absolutely fine) partially in the basement for the new building and are currently looking for a general cost comparison: new basement windows (100x100, including installation) versus use of "old" windows (self-removal, including installation by a professional). In our opinion, our architect is "somewhat uncertain" about this question, and we really cannot estimate the effort (we will remove the windows ourselves, the rest is done by the professional). For example, with new windows the frame, etc. is included, whereas with the use of old windows it first has to be built, etc...
