It is intended to be used as a storage room for bicycles, garden tools, winter/summer tires. I also wanted to put in a small workbench to store my tools and as a place for waxing skis, repairing bicycles, and small craft projects. So it is nothing that would put extreme stress on the floor slab. However, it should be noted that our development plan requires that outbuildings be roofed like the house, in our case with tiles. Those do add some weight as well. That is why I searched for quite a while until I found one that can support the roofing and will probably order one from GSP Blockhaus. 45mm log boards

The latter doesn't matter, you can use construction electricity and construction water. I would also do it beforehand if you have the opportunity. For a garden shed, I wouldn't make such a complex slab but rather use 8 cm curb stones as a foundation for the walls and then pave inside. According to my experience, frost-free foundation is not necessary for this.

Frost-free foundation depends on how the walls look and, of course, on the soil conditions.

As an example: a few months ago, my father and I poured a 2.5 * 5 meter slab. With rebates on three sides and wooden formwork on the other. About 25 thick. The rest is made of wood. Roof is a shed roof made of wood, no tiles. But of course, it is only a shed, not a garden house. The cost for the foundation was €450.
Called a local mixer and about 10 hours of work all in (without wall, etc.)

We have normal wooden floorboards. Below compacted with gravel, cheap precast concrete slabs, and on top of that the wooden floor of the house

Then I would also consider whether this could be done with a wooden floor and appropriate substructure. If you have to dig out and add gravel, the time and cost advantages are rather small. If you really don’t have a concrete plant nearby or a supplier who also delivers concrete in big bags, but it’s a real alternative. I only got 0.5 m³ of concrete from the hardware store and had to make numerous trips.

Yes, I noticed that too when doing the calculations. Outdoor areas require a ton of materials. With a regular trailer, you really can’t carry much, and without one, nothing at all. By rough estimate, for such a slab foundation I come to about 700kg of curb stones, 1.6 tons of paving slabs, 6 tons of gravel for a 30cm sub-base, and 1.3 tons for 5cm of paving grit... The current trend is leaning more towards a slab foundation and having the stuff delivered. Luckily, there are two gravel plants nearby, both about 10km away (and even operated by different companies!). Order a full truckload of gravel right away and then use the rest for paving work after moving in.
