The base area for the garden house has been rammed down. However, it is not completely level. Can you get it (almost) level by ramming, or is that hopeless? Since I want to lay the paving stones on the rammed gravel, which probably won’t work that way.

With a bit of ready-mix concrete and a straightedge, it will work out. Just be brave. My house stands on compacted gravel, on top of which 30x30 concrete paving slabs were laid with spacing, set in concrete. Then the pads and then the base frame, all done by myself.
I must admit… this was a community neighborhood effort. The two of us alone wouldn’t have managed it with four left hands. At times, up to 8 people were here helping out.
Just a question because I will be building my garden shed soon. As a foundation, we have a paved area. My plan now was to do without a substructure and a floor in the garden shed so that the paving represents the floor of the house. I wanted to lay the lowest log planks on rubber pads like those. Is there anything against this plan? I usually only see houses with a substructure and wooden floor in pictures.
