Hello, maybe off-topic but a question: Why is that suboptimal? The background is that I am currently persuading the general contractor to install a towel radiator WITH connection to the underfloor heating; he thinks it's nonsense, electrical heating is enough. I think that with an underfloor heating connection the towel radiator is always a bit (lukewarm) warm and thus properly dries the towels... Best regards GD

1. The heating water causes the HTHK to corrode and the particles are toxic to the heat pump. Therefore, it is important to ensure that the HTHK is made of stainless steel.

2. It is often read that an HTHK represents a hydraulic short circuit due to the very short pipe length, which results in too little temperature difference and causes the heat pump to shut off more quickly.

Complementing Alessandro's explanation, here is the counter question. Is it really the case that the radiator is lukewarm and the towels dry properly? At around 30° flow temperature, I doubt that a bit :)

Well, that's how it is with us. 30 degrees supply temperature also bring 30 degrees at the towel radiator, that is lukewarm.

Yes, it is similar for me. In addition, the spread with 5k is actually very good for me and far away from hydrl. Short circuit...

Off topic: How do you read or calculate the spread? Or where can I find the return temperature?
