Placing the bathtub in the niche has the following disadvantages for us:
1) You can’t easily reach the back. (Cleaning + watching the children)
2) You can no longer reach the window. (It opens to the left)
I had also thought about... one could then install a foldable splash guard and use the niche as an alternative shower.
Unfortunately, we discarded the idea due to the two points mentioned above.
Do you think the 50cm passage in my graphic above would be sufficient? We currently prefer this solution.
A double sink is not necessary since it is basically only the "guest" bathroom.
Planned at the top is a double sink where the children can also play at the same time.
Our new idea:
Corner bathtub at the top right and toilet on the right side, directly at the entrance.
I will quickly do the calculations.
