Placing the bathtub in the niche has the following disadvantages for us:

1) You can’t easily reach the back. (Cleaning + watching the children)
2) You can no longer reach the window. (It opens to the left)

I had also thought about... one could then install a foldable splash guard and use the niche as an alternative shower.
Unfortunately, we discarded the idea due to the two points mentioned above.

Do you think the 50cm passage in my graphic above would be sufficient? We currently prefer this solution.

A double sink is not necessary since it is basically only the "guest" bathroom.
Planned at the top is a double sink where the children can also play at the same time.

Our new idea:
Corner bathtub at the top right and toilet on the right side, directly at the entrance.
I will quickly do the calculations.

Can't the toilet be built into the niche?

Of course, the toilet can also go into the niche.
I have now sketched all our possible solutions. Basically prioritized from bottom to top.
My comments on each solution:

1. The bathtub looks like a sarcophagus
2. Passage quite narrow
3. Most daylight and space. But shower is missing. Planned alternative: Splash guard will be installed above the bathtub on the top right.
4. Not prioritized because the bathtub at the back is hard to reach. --> You can’t reach the children, cleaning is difficult, and you can’t get to the window
5. You walk right up to the toilet and the door slams against it
6. You walk right up to the toilet and the passage remains narrow. Also, you look directly at the wall.
7. Shower with 70x70 cm is not shown in the planner. We have 69 cm space at the wall but could probably gain that one cm.
8. The passage is still too narrow.

Unfortunately, the passages are only roughly measured because the planning tool does not allow calculating from specific point A to B.

No idea if it would fit in terms of dimensions. Maybe just as a suggestion.
