Hello,

when using portals on the internet, you should definitely make sure that they are real providers or brokers. Unfortunately, many providers are address traders. However, you can recognize this in the imprint or in the [AGB´s].

Best regards

Oh man, unbelievable ... the scam is lurking everywhere. Even with such an important topic as [Baufinanzierungen] and loans, no restraint is shown. So keep an eye on the imprint and [AGBs] - thanks for this tip.

Hello,
Santamaria, are you still there? :) Or already stressed with the construction?
May I ask where you arranged your construction financing? Your house bank, or did you reorient yourself? I am also a bit further along now. :) I found a provider on the internet who initially convinced me. I am a bit cautious about that. BUT the imprint and terms and conditions are clean. :) (baufibemu)
The offer from my house bank doesn't really convince me – I'm not satisfied with the repayment plan and they don't seem to be flexible... Or maybe they don't want me. :0

Regards

Hello Rike,

I am still here :-) Unfortunately, I have been very busy the last few weeks. We finally sold our current apartment, but had to vacate it very quickly because the buyer absolutely wanted to move in right away. This deal was financially lucrative, but the whole stress with moving out and relocating was quite exhausting. We have now temporarily moved into my parents' house until our house is ready. The apartment is sold. The construction financing is secured. We have mastered our homework for now :-) Now it's time to build, build, build. After all, we want to implement our construction financing. I hope we will be finished by August. We arranged the construction financing with Creditweb.

Yes, great for you. Which provider did you find? Maybe you should also visit another bank or consult an independent financial service provider? The repayment plan is very important, and if you already have reservations about it, you should probably stick with your house bank.

Good luck with the search

Hello, oh man, you really took on something right before Christmas. Respect!!! I completely understand that this financial offer - I mean the sale of your apartment - was too tempting to pass up. I just hope you have enough space at your parents' place. I don't think I could do that. But the money from the apartment is definitely a very good starting capital for building your own house! :) Did you actually include this amount from the start in your financing calculation? Or was it a pleasant coincidence that you got rid of your apartment so quickly? Because an amount of this size surely has a very positive impact on the terms of the construction financing!? Equity is always very welcome and rewarded with lower interest rates and good repayment plans. Oh, but what's really funny is: that you ended up taking out your construction financing with creditweb. Because they were also on my "list" in the end. 2-3 online providers convinced me and I have only read good things about creditweb in other forums so far. And now you too! Perfect. That’s probably a sign. :) I think we will get active next week and get in touch with them? Do you have any tips on what we should pay special attention to? Or are they already doing everything right? ;) Best regards, Rike

Hello Rike,
yes, we were really lucky that everything went so smoothly. Of course, we had taken the apartment into account in our construction financing, but only the amount we would have gotten in the worst-case scenario. The good sale proceeds are already benefiting our construction financing and have a positive effect on our repayment plan. :) Having to stay with our parents for a few months now is a bit annoying, but it is definitely worth it for us.

We are in good hands at Creditweb. Our advisor definitely has a lot of experience. That made the whole process easier than I expected. Since I would still consider myself a beginner when it comes to construction financing, I don’t have any great tips for you. Just one tip: write down all the questions that come to mind now or in the next few days. When the advisor is there, you can go through them nicely with him. Otherwise, you’re already doing everything right.

Good luck
