Construction cost development still normal???

The half a million for a house of this size – however without basement and garage, but with outdoor facilities and all ancillary construction costs – we already paid a few years ago in the Lower Rhine region. Wrong architect planning... But that doesn't help you right now either.

And to top it off... What really makes me angry is the fact that we are supposed to pay €1200 for the preparation of one of these offers as well - arranged through the architect.

I do not see the €500k including additional construction costs with the volume calculation and my €400/cbm, so also with my equipment. Something has to be cut. I suspect you want a steel staircase, at least it looks that way. Alone that costs more than €15k.

Basically, these are all assumptions. Has the architect ([HilfeHilfe] sends regards) already finished the tender documents? If so, maybe an experienced person can take a look here.

The tendering phase costs money. But to charge that much for a single offer is really low class?

You really have the wrong architect. Maybe it's worth changing the architect? For the shell construction, it is way too expensive, that's a fact
