I actually thought more about fully charging the car during the day with photovoltaics to use it as storage at night. And as soon as your own energy is produced, it will be charged again. So to use it exactly like a photovoltaic storage system. The question would only be how this affects the car battery. If the battery then gives up a few years earlier, it’s not really profitable...Bidirectional charging is currently a total disaster. I really see people driving electricity pointless kilometers around (from Aldi, the employer, friends, ...) just to save 30 cents. At the same time, at least 10% is lost during charging and another 10% when pulling out again. We really don’t have enough renewable energy yet to waste 20%. Only when a lot of regulation and control is involved can it make sense.
