I described exactly this situation here a few days ago.

That is what many men do not want to understand. If you give up 800€, HE theoretically would have to pay you for the upbringing, net of tax, of course. Could he still pay the loan then? No! Just to get a grasp of why the "freeloaders" are not freeloaders. Maybe some well-educated women give up even much larger amounts.

The gain in value settles the mundane question of what raising children / and housework are worth.

That is of course suboptimal. If someone brings an asset that yields dividends into a relationship without a contract, at some point an unreasonable enrichment of one partner also takes place during a separation. That is why I am a fan of contracts. That such contracts would disadvantage such women is not a law of nature.

I recently talked with a friend who does it differently. They first pool money together, pay for everything "shared," and then split the rest equally between both partners for spending, saving, or whatever. Such a model levels out differences. If we had each had half of the "remaining net income," I probably would have been better off.

Thanks to childcare in the East, I was still able to work (see above), just not full-time. I had some work to do to get my hours back up, but now it has worked out.

And my house is now my house, there is no discussion about that.

Well, that's what happens when you don't go to the land register. At least you did bring in [Muskelhypothek].

But how is one supposed to, for example, enter the land register if the property already belonged (only) to the partner before the relationship began? If they don't want to, you can't force them!
