Hello,
I have a question where I find it a bit difficult to make a decision. My ground floor mostly consists of an L-shaped open kitchen, dining, and living area of about 57m2.
On the northwest exterior wall, I have 3 windows. Two of them are in the dining area and are floor-to-ceiling, and one window is in the kitchen area with the usual sill height. The windows are symmetrically distributed on the wall. Since this side faces the street and the sidewalk is 3 meters away, I would actually like to install [Raffstores] on the two floor-to-ceiling windows to create the option for privacy screening if desired. For the far right kitchen window, I don’t see the need and tend to opt for a roller shutter.
Do you think that looks strange both from the inside and outside?
On the other side of the room (southeast), there is only a large sliding door to the terrace. To enable shading, a [Raffstore] will definitely be installed here.
From the outside, to the right of the sliding door, there is another door leading from the cloakroom to the terrace. Since this is a passage room, I would also prefer a roller shutter here.
Do you think these combinations of roller shutters and [Raffstores] look strange, from outside or inside?
Does anyone else have such a combination and can report whether it was a good decision afterwards?
