Combine venetian blinds and roller shutters at the house

That doesn't sound very sensible. A venetian blind is raised into a compact package and a roller shutter is rolled up in the box. Therefore, it requires completely different dimensions and "inlet openings".

We also plan to mix Venetian blinds on the ground floor with roller shutters on the upper floor. How did you handle the colors of the slats? The same colors for both? And if so, which color did you choose?

We deliberately did not choose the very dark colors so that the closed shutters and blinds do not look so gloomy from the inside. This has proven successful for us.

We chose both venetian blinds and aluminum roller shutters in RAL 9007. It’s not the very light "standard white aluminum," but hopefully still light enough. In our case, even three windows right next to each other on the upper floor are mixed. The outer ones have roller shutters because they are bedrooms, and the middle one, used as an office, has a venetian blind.
Visually it doesn’t fit 100%, but I think if you stay "in tone," it’s okay. Many say that if it doesn’t match, better to go with contrast and a different color; I personally find deviations within the color palette absolutely fine.

As soon as the electrical wiring is installed and I can operate the blinds, gladly :D
We placed the samples side by side at the window manufacturer, and you could already see the difference quite well there.
