We also plan to mix venetian blinds on the ground floor with roller shutters on the upper floor. How did you solve the color of the slats? The same color for both? And if so, which color did you choose?
We chose both venetian blinds and aluminum roller shutters in RAL 9007. It’s not the very light "standard white aluminum," but hopefully still light enough. In our case, even three windows right next to each other on the upper floor are mixed. The outer ones have roller shutters because they are bedrooms, and the middle one, used as an office, has a venetian blind.
Visually it doesn’t fit 100%, but I think if you stay "in tone," it’s okay. Many say that if it doesn’t match, better to go with contrast and a different color; I personally find deviations within the color palette absolutely fine.
