I would prefer 2 sliding doors in the dining room if I were you. We had a similar situation in our apartment like you and found the hinged doors very annoying.

May I ask how high the construction costs will be?

Currently, we don't have any doors planned at all but rather want an open area... We have considered sliding doors but according to the current floor plan these are not feasible or do you have a suggestion? :D The construction costs are currently only for the house + basement (without land and additional costs) at 410,000. However, we have also already included some extras which I can't list from memory (e.g. Smarthome, raised ceilings on the ground floor, window seat, photovoltaic + storage, etc)...

There is frosted glass for this – also half-high. For example, we left 20 cm clear at the top, which is very pleasant and provides enough privacy while allowing light and openness.

The area – since it is at the corner of the exterior wall/wall panel – is hardly usable for deep cabinets anyway.

I would move the staircase about 1 1/2 meters upwards according to the plan and make the base straight, then turn it to the right at the top. The WC probably needs to be adjusted a bit. Why? Because of the dirty area in front of the staircase. Also, it is never really comfortable right in front of the front door. I like the design. When you enter the open space, there will definitely be a great atmosphere. If necessary, I would rotate the island 90 degrees to make the work triangle more perfect.

By the way: An entrance where the carport is would of course be even nicer [emoji2]

No idea. A sketch is needed for that. No one can keep track of it mentally anymore. ;)

I don’t know how set in stone the layout upstairs is. But one could shuffle things around a bit again. Here’s an alternative sketched out:
