Sliding doors in the house?

So sliding doors on the wall look ugly! There are also sliding doors that run inside the wall, but then you only have a drywall, that is plasterboard walls. If you like that, so be it.

Sliding doors can look nice, but I find them somehow impractical. I like it when I can really close my door.

I really think the sliding doors are great

With us, the lockable sliding door looks like in the following pictures. It could also be designed with a key, but that is not necessary for us because the dog cannot distinguish between the two.

Yes, I know about the pets. We are installing a sliding door to the kitchen.. so the 2x4 paws don’t jump around there.

It may sound silly, but I find "normal doors" more practical.... you can easily open them with your elbow if you don't have a free hand....
