City villa 160-170 m², issue with connection of windbreak to garage

The bay window extension is pointless anyway. There is no room that would benefit from it, only the hallway becomes more narrow and the corridor upstairs. We initially planned it that way, but it doesn’t help and costs a lot of money. If it’s about aesthetics, a (gable raised above the normal eaves height) is sufficient, without a setback in the wall.

Due to problems with the size of the utility room concerning the planned controlled residential ventilation with air-water heat pump, we fundamentally revisited the floor plan and made a few more changes.

What exactly are the problems? Where is the outdoor unit located in your new floor plan – where is the connection? I'm not an expert in this field, but with the garage on the left and the hallway on the right, and the living room at the back – there is only one exterior wall right next to the entrance...

I also tend to place the utility room under the kitchen, like in Jenny’s plan. However, I find the hallway there a bit too narrow. Possibly I would work with some kind of entrance bay window.

I would also prefer the hallway to be bigger. But with a bathroom downstairs with a shower and if you want the living room to be separated, there is not much space left.
