..well.. actually, before signing anything, EVERYTHING should be clarified.. and not "some things".. But you will surely know this and have acted accordingly!

Ok, that was poorly written by me again yesterday :)

I had postponed the notary appointment and given the contract to a lawyer, the requested changes the builder now has and I hope he will include them.

The cistern is still being built for us, however, the construction description only states '.....cistern for garden irrigation...' and where, how big, whether it has a pump, etc..... We don’t have a water tap in the garden, so these questions still need to be clarified, as we would have to plan a water tap relatively quickly and leave out the cistern.

The sewage pipes are now being insulated, however only a small section is at frost-proof height. Below is an excerpt from the city. The real estate agent had told the whole truth.

'..........It is correct that the municipal utilities approved in the architect's drainage application the installation of cisterns, whose overflows were to be connected to the wastewater sewer.

It has now become apparent during construction that the municipal utilities' existing plans are faulty. The bottom of the sewer lies about 1 m higher than indicated in the plans. This means that pump systems must be planned for the wastewater. The builder asked us whether, in order to save costs for the pump systems for the rainwater from the cistern overflows, the rainwater could also infiltrate directly on site. The soil conditions allow this. We have granted this request because according to § 4 para. 3 of our drainage statute, rainwater is subject to the connection and usage obligation if it can be infiltrated. The infiltration is not an obligation on our part. We also did understand the builder's request as meaning that the cisterns and thus the rainwater utilization were to be completely abandoned. It was only a matter of how to deal with the excess rainwater.....'

We organized a meeting with the builder because we had a very bad feeling about the real estate agent. He made a very good impression on us again, as did the trades on the construction site, and we decided that we would fire the builder because of his agent.

We are now only in contact with the real estate agent by email, they exerted extreme pressure to keep the first notary appointment, and terrorized my girlfriend while I was abroad. They just want their 23,000 euros!

Thanks again. It’s great that there are such websites! I hope my story was too boring, in case someone read it :)
