Ceiling height - What height have you chosen at your place?

We have about 2.80 m on the ground floor and upper floor, calculated from a floor structure of 19 cm.

That is my topic.
I have dealt a lot with the sense of space.

We have finished flooring in every room
267 cm and in the living room - approx. 4.70 m open up to the ridge.
It is a bungalow.

The shell construction is finished, all rooms appear spacious although some are normally smaller rooms.

All interior doors 211 cm and the front doors and terrace elements 235 cm high.

EG 2.75 and OG 2.60 (each finished height), doors everywhere 2.50. As already written above by , it feels spacious and we like it. If it had been permissible, we would have built even higher rooms (2.80 above and below).

But then, at some point, there is a price jump for [Alufenster].

Higher ceilings do not only have advantages, therefore I think one should choose a middle way here.

We have a finished room height of 2.70m at the bottom and top and find that this is the optimal height for us. We paid an additional cost of around 2000 euros (including higher windows), so it was not very much. Previously, we had 2.50m, and the difference is noticeable; it simply feels much better now.
