For cost reasons, we have decided against increasing the room size.

I now also believe that rooms need a certain minimum area to have an effect. A room that is too small but tall quickly takes on the charm of an elevator shaft. Furthermore, you have to disparage things you don’t implement financially somehow. That way, life is better. The classic: Small plot = otherwise, there would be too much garden work for us.

I didn't even think about the fact that it could be higher....and now it's as it is standard. I don't even know how high this is, just: I can stand in every room, so more than 183cm.

2.40 m is, I believe, legally required for living spaces, nothing less is allowed.

depending on the federal state, 2.30 m is also sufficient.

I don’t have to measure that. I don’t care. High enough is high enough.

The standard nowadays is 250 cm, higher-priced apartments from the developer between 260 and 280 cm.

I would not build again under 260 cm.
