Carport deviation from the building application

Hello everyone,

Our architect included a carport with a storage room in our house plan. The building application was submitted and approved. The house is now built, and the carport manufacturer we initially chose no longer produces this type of carport. How much can I now deviate from the building application without encountering problems? The plan was for a carport measuring 6.5m x 9m with an integrated 3m x 6m storage room and a flat roof. The carport is located 1m away from the neighbor's property.

I wouldn't go longer than the mentioned 9 meters. What do you have in mind?

It should not be major changes.

Instead of 6.50 meters, maybe 6.80 meters.
The slightly angled but (Wallmartig) should now go straight down.

Important are the 9 meter length at the border. If the carport is located at the corner, there are 2 borders and depending on the federal state/development plan etc., there are different maximum border lengths. If the garage "extends out the back" more than 3 meters from the border, the 30 cm should not be a problem.

in which direction are you getting wider? Does the pathway become smaller or the area towards the boundary? If you have 1 meter to the boundary, that can be such a magical measure. There are regulations like "1 meter or directly at the boundary...". Then you are not allowed to get to 0.7 meters from the boundary. You should clarify that, or your architect can usually answer that without any problems. However, always assume that he is doing it for the first time ^^
