Can a new heating system cause noise in the apartment?

Hey community,
I live in a building with 12 units and last week we had a new heating system installed downstairs in the basement. You can't enter the heating room, but I was able to take a quick look inside. It's a modern unit with a display and new pump, etc.
The system is relatively loud and emits a constant humming/buzzing sound. It almost sounds like tinnitus or as if someone were vacuuming (hard to describe). This sound can be heard loudly throughout the entire basement and partially in the stairwell.

I’ve now noticed that I hear exactly the same noise 1 to 1 in the bedroom, hallway, and living room. It’s especially noticeable in the bedroom. It really sounds like tinnitus or as if someone were vacuuming continuously. The heating has already been bled by the professionals (if that’s relevant here). I live on the first floor, how is that possible?

I also contacted the company in writing but haven’t received any reply so far. Maybe I should ask the property management, since they spontaneously arranged the installation. I just wanted to ask if this noise is normal? Unfortunately, I sleep very poorly and this tone or noise is really wearing me down (it’s really bad, no exaggeration). If anything is unclear or further information is needed, just ask and many thanks to all who take the time here.

Regards

What do the other 11 parties say about this?
Band together and contact the property management.
If it comes from several people, it can't be so easily dismissed as oversensitive nonsense.

If you hear the noise elsewhere as well, it might really be tinnitus or sudden hearing loss or something like that?

In the past, old tube TVs also had something like coil whine. I once had to sell a brand new TV again because after turning it on it produced a disgusting, continuous, high-frequency whine. My partner at the time couldn't hear it. But other people who came to visit could, at least some of them. Not everyone can hear these frequencies. But if you can hear them, it drives you crazy.
However, I have not heard it in connection with heating systems, only with old electrical devices. I also can't imagine that it would have transmitted over several floors (at least not the one from my old TV).

What kind of heating was installed? Oil, gas, heat pump?

The heating naturally makes noise. The question remains how loud. The chimney is crucial here. It can significantly amplify combustion noises or transmit them into the high-frequency range.

I had exactly this problem with my multi-family house after installing the new oil heating. It was a huge hassle with the environmental office, district chimney sweep, chief district chimney sweep, noise level measurement, chimney expert report, the heating engineer, etc.

For the sake of peace, we then had a muffler installed between the heating and the chimney. Since then, it has improved and everyone is happy. However, the expense cost me 2000 euros.

What exactly caused the noises could not be determined. It was definitely in the high-frequency range.

Everyone hears it. As I said, it is clearly audible in the stairwell and basement. In one apartment it is louder than in the other. Apparently, it has affected me strongly.

I went down to the basement once more and listened to the pipes. You can hear a flow and rushing as well as the vibration. This vibration transfers into a high-frequency tone that can be heard everywhere in the multi-family house as well as in the apartments. It goes through everything. It sounds as if a vacuum cleaner was running constantly somewhere. I can't describe it better than that.
