Calculation of ongoing ancillary costs

What bothers me more is the water consumption. 240m3, of which 110 is for the garden. Crazy... 110m3 is about our entire annual consumption (3-person household), of which 10m3 is for the garden. The rest is collected and poured out via IBCs.

Our annual consumption (3 people) was also about 110 m³ without garden.

We pay €250 per year for the maintenance of the air-water heat pump.
However, the maintenance itself only takes place every 2 years, so €500 per maintenance.

What confuses me much more about halmi's setup are the €2000 electricity costs despite photovoltaics with an 8000 kWh annual consumption.
We have an annual consumption of 11,000 kWh and thanks to photovoltaics, we pay just under €800 per year for it. We have to draw about half from the grid.

5500 kWh / €800 = 6.875 cents

Where can you get electricity that cheap?

Last summer, it basically didn’t really rain here from May until the end of August. You can then let your freshly planted garden for x-thousands € get ruined and replace 80-90% the following year, or you just water it.

Well, not everyone has to go all out like that. I bought each little plant for 50 ct to 1.50 € (only the bigger ones cost 8 euros). I only water the vegetable plants with water that comes from washing vegetables in the kitchen and occasionally when you don’t close the tap quickly enough. That adds up to 2-3 liters per day. That way I can properly water the crops every third day. Overall, as an individual, I have an annual consumption of 7 cubic meters. However, the toilet and washing machine are connected to rainwater.
