Hello,
I am thinking about buying a new kitchen and have already been working with the kitchen planner on the Ikea website.
After recently visiting an Ikea store in Holland, I got the idea to also plan the kitchen on the Dutch Ikea website and noticed that it is cheaper there. Since I live in Bavaria, I also planned it again on the Czech website and behold, it is even cheaper there. Even if I had to rent a van to drive to Prague, the savings after deducting the costs would still be 1,200 euros.
But what happens if I buy the kitchen there, drive it home, and then find out during assembly that some parts are missing (screws, hinges, etc.) or even damaged? Can I get or exchange the missing or defective parts at a German Ikea store?
Although it is hard for me to wait, I would rather buy the new Metod series. It is supposedly going to be launched in Germany in June, but when can we expect it in the Czech Republic - does anyone know?
Best regards
Christian
