We had ordered 11 months in advance at the time and still the kitchen was 6 weeks late...

Oh dear, then you shouldn't buy a bike either.....you could fall on your face on the way. Or imagine your construction company goes bankrupt tomorrow, or.... Seriously, if you know exactly what you want, where all the necessary installations have to be, then that's no problem. It doesn't happen that fast. You can also keep the option open to make changes up to a reasonable period. So take your time, touch everything and compare.

The only thing that would worry me is the deposit, which would be lost in case of bankruptcy.

But why don’t you ask your BT when he needs the measurements.

Hi,

If I order 11 months in advance, I would include a penalized delivery date... In other words, for each week of delay, the kitchen gets X % cheaper....

I always find it incomprehensible how completely chaotic and incompetent the furniture/kitchen business is. And it's even more incomprehensible that people go along with it...

Just my 50 cents,

Andreas

We bought in April and it was delivered at the end of November.

Electrical planning and wastewater pipe were done immediately after the purchase, as it was necessary for the [Gü].

What annoyed me, however, was that the measurement service was only carried out with finished flooring and closed walls "prefabricated house," so we had to live with an electric cooker and a replacement fridge for almost 2 months.

I also ordered about a year earlier but received it on time. However, it is important to have at least a plan, especially if you want a kitchen island with [Dunstabzugshaube], as it has advantages, and you also know more precisely where electricity/water/sewage needs to go (without a basement, it may also be important for the [Bodenplatte]).
