What prejudices? I work daily with colleagues and subs from all over the world, most of whom do excellent work. I don't think any of you species here know as many nationalities and have experienced them on construction sites like I have.

As I said, I just find it funny. Town & Country basically only does cheap crap. But the Poles, they do everything top notch.
Notice something? Prejudices and all.

Well, just speak plainly. Otherwise, I have to believe that you are insinuating that Polish craft companies are on average worse than German ones. Why else would it be funny?

I'll turn it around. Why should one avoid Town & Country and rather choose Danwood? Tell me.

Apart from preferences in construction methods: No franchise but a central contact person with a central ISO certified quality management. No lottery whether the local franchisee actually delivers good work but planning and manufacturing in a production facility with the aforementioned quality management... Financially more secure due to a global ownership structure (Korean parent company). More secure supply chains and thus greater planning security through appropriate order volumes and partner network. 30 years warranty on the construction. Personally, I would recommend neither one nor the other. It was not about the companies themselves either, but about the implicit reinforcement of the prejudice that Poland delivers worse quality than Germany. If you didn't want that, you can write so, but then I still don't understand what is supposed to be funny about it.

It is the usual fallacy that a large corporation in the background ensures security. Keep believing that. In the end, claims end up with the German branch, GmbH or similar. You can sue the parent company in Poland or South Korea.

I also don’t see the price advantage... Town & Country offers 152m² in Berlin from 307,000 EUR. Value creation in Germany... those who prefer to send the money abroad shouldn’t complain that things no longer run properly here ;)

And if it depends on luck with the craftsmen... then no one should be building with solid construction anymore, because all solid construction contractors have subs. No one has all trades in-house.

That is nonsense. The same craftsmen were on site here for Town & Country as for Helms or the individual construction from the architect...

Town & Country simply stands here as junk in principle... Prejudices, best regards ;)

PS Even if you don’t believe it. I work a lot with subs from Eastern Europe... Czechs, Slovaks, Croats. All good... Poles? Only trouble, we don’t buy from them anymore...

Post-shuffle and straw men fabrication.

I didn’t mean the enforceability of claims, but that a large company doesn’t get into trouble that easily. In both companies, I assume a fundamental willingness for cooperative partnership.
I didn’t talk about the price at all. Nor about the value creation of economies. Especially when they are supposedly German branches after all.... well.

Craftsmen yes, but with Town & Country you talk to and sign with a salesman and may only get to know the executing company at the sampling stage – at least only after signing.
With self-contracting or a regional general contractor without franchise, you can usually take a closer look at the companies beforehand.

Ok, so your main issue was with bashing Town & Country, but I think you played into prejudices and that’s what I spoke out against.
