That is generously calculated with the €4000. But you have the salary and so in the end you save what you don't have to spend for the house. That’s already good. However, I think that with a ratio of 3900/2700 you do contribute more. For example €300, so that then €1000 remain.We have calculated €4000 every month for loan + operating costs, car, insurance, groceries, etc. My partner would then "only" have €700 left - we do not have a joint account and do not plan to - everyone puts €2k into the household account then.
